FUNCTION
    Compute sin and cosine of y in IEEE double precision.
    Store the cosine in *z. Return the sine of y.

INPUTS
    y - IEEE double precision floating point value
    z - pointer to IEEE double precision floating point number

RESULT
    x - IEEE double precision floating point value
